Russell Memorial Weekend
Every year, on the last weekend of February, we celebrate the legacy of Micho, Packie & Gussie Russell.The three brothers played a huge role, along with Gus & Doll O’Connor, in establishing Doolin’s reputation as a Mecca for Irish music lovers. And no better way to celebrate them than a Traditional Music Festival.

Doolin has been known for its great wealth of traditional music for a very long time, folklore collectors & archivists came to Doolin and Gus O’Connor’s Pub as early as the 1930s.Staying true to our heritage is essential and we are proud to take part in carrying on our musical tradition and sharing it with our visitors.
